Scope

This policy applies to the WLDiary iPhone and iPad application.

Meal planning and food logs

Meal plans, ingredients, nutrition summaries, nutrition targets and personal food logs are stored locally on your device in the app's SQLite database. WLDiary does not require an account or cloud synchronization.

Meal photos

If you choose Take a photo or Choose a photo, the selected image is classified on-device to suggest a meal category and editable nutrition estimate. The photo and estimate remain in app storage and are not uploaded by WLDiary. Estimates are not medical advice and should be reviewed before saving.

Device information and networking

WLDiary may process an app-specific device identifier, app version, device type, operating system version and request time to operate optional online services, support basic statistics, troubleshoot problems and maintain security. Your meal plans, food logs and photos are not included in these requests.

Local storage

Local settings, plans, targets and logs use app storage. Meal photos are kept in the app's private storage. A local PIN, when created during the access flow, is stored with app data and is removed when the app is uninstalled. An app-specific device identifier may be retained in secure system storage for service operation.

User-initiated links

The Website and Privacy Policy are loaded only after you select them. Their operators may process ordinary network request information under their own practices.

Third-party services

WLDiary does not include advertising networks or third-party cross-app tracking. System networking, Vision and SQLite are used to provide requested app functions.

Use, sharing and retention

Information is used only to provide app operation, basic statistics, troubleshooting and security. We do not sell personal information. Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the app. Service records are retained only as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can review or clear saved plans and personal logs inside the app. You can decline camera access and avoid optional website access by not selecting those actions. Contact us to ask privacy questions.

Children

WLDiary is a general household planning tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, although no system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes; the revised date will appear above.
